My gyros turned out great. I used round steak cut into strips. The long slow cooking made the meat meltingly tender. Everything came together well, and made for an enjoyable meal.

Came out great! Glad I read the reviews and comments I added more spices to the meat my family loved it! I also used a feta spread on the pita

Fantastic! Family all loved it. Will certainly be making this on a monthly basis

The beef stew meat was chewy - I don't know why, but it was. The flavor was okay and I had to drain the meat because there was so much juice. The sauce was okay also. I think I'll look for another gyro recipe.

Not really gyros but still real good in its own way. Tztaki is geat. Leftover meat scrambled with eggs and cheese made another supper.

A bit liquidy for gyros but very tasty. Served the leftovers over rice which was awesome.

Meat had a very weird texture and was dry I’m going to try and make it on the stove next time.

Not bad. The tzatziki sauce was awesome and the beef was tender. I didnt use as much meat so I was able to cook on high for 4hours in my slow cooker. Hubby was ok with the meal but he wanted a sweet donair sauce instead. All in all a decent recipe.

loved everything about it. it was very easy to make. i like how it shows you how to make your own sauce

excellent meal. it deserves the 5 stars if you season more than it says. i added 3/4 tsp of cinnamon (very greek), onion powder, and a general greek seasoning. when putting the wrap together i added diced feta and a small amount of red onion. Greek food is bold and this recipe can get there without adding much fat or calories.

Meat was very tender. Amp up the spice/flavor in both meat and tzatziki. Instead of 2 lbs beef stew meat, I’ve been doing 1 lb beef and 1 lb chicken breast in the crock-pot. Then finish in a cast iron on the stove to get a little char on the meat.

Turned out good. Used stew meat. Was done at 6 hours on low. Used flat bread instead of pita.

Pretty good! Family liked it...will need to add a few more seasoning to the meat...but great!

I followed it exactly but added feta cheese to the tzatziki sauce and it made the sauce better! My husband and I really enjoyed the meal. My 11 year old liked the meat and my 7 year old only liked the bread. That's why I didn't give it 5 stars because it didn't please the whole family and it wasn't out of this world delicious but was good. I'd definitely make again in a pinch or for something different!
