Not very well. Extremely dry. The crust is not good at all. I will not use this recipe again. I will dispose of the remainder of the pie.

My whole family is in love with this recipe! The flavor was outstanding and the only adjustment I made was, I added a pound of hot sausage along with the ground beef. Definitely a keeper!

This was AMAZING! The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I think the crust recipe was a little off I used 2 cups of flakes instead of the 2-1/2 required by the recipe and it turned out great!
DO NOT skip the step of browning the crust first before putting in the meat mixture. If you do it will result in a soggy crust. I also added a little extra salsa to the meat. My family loved it!

I made this for my friend and she doesn’t like spicy so instead of salsa I used 2 tablespoons of tomato paste with a cup of water, added it to the ground meat, onion and taco seasoning. She loved it and asked if she could have a piece for the next day. (And she doesn’t like leftovers) The mashed potato crust was excellent.

Very good, I loved that it was a taco in a pie. This was more complicated than expected and took time to prepare. It was worth it and I will make again, just be prepared to be in the kitchen or a bit.
