- 1 3/4 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 tsp. salt (vege-sal, or a slightly smaller amount of)
- 3/4 cup pine nuts (or slivered almonds, toasted in a dry pan)
- 1/2 cup green onion (sliced)
- 2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro (finely, or flat-leaf parsley)

I like this combination for quinoa. I had some leftover pine nuts and this recipe was a good use for them. I added a lot of pepper and some za’atar seasoning. I like cilantro and will add another tbsp next time.

I think toasting the quinoa again for a minute after boiling would give it a better flavor.

Great change up from my regular quinoa dishes. The broth gives it so much more flavor and the herb combination is perfect!

It was ok, just didn't think I'd make the exact recipe again. Needed a little bit more flavour. But appreciated the new experience
