Description
Tender, Italian-seasoned, red sauce meatballs become a bit leaner when made with ground turkey instead of beef. Once you try one, you may not even be able to tell the difference!

- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 lb. ground turkey thigh
- 1 large eggs
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for meatballs)
- 1 3/4 tsp. salt
- black pepper (to taste)
- 1 jar marinara sauce (24 oz. per jar)
- grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
- Grate or press the garlic cloves into a large mixing bowl. Add the turkey, egg, panko, Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Using clean hands, mix the ingredients together until they are thoroughly combined.
