- 3 large garlic cloves (minced)
- 2/3 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 1/2 cups tomato (fresh chopped, OR 1 14-ounce can of whole or crushed tomatoes with their juices)
- 2 tsp. tomato paste (optional)
- 8 oz. clam juice (or shellfish stock)
- 1/2 cup dry white wine (like Sauvignon blanc)
- 1 1/2 lb. fish fillets (use a firm white fish such as halibut, cod, red snapper, or sea bass, cut into 2-inch pieces)
- 1 pinch dried oregano
- 1 pinch dried thyme
- 1/8 tsp. Tabasco Sauce (or more to taste)
- 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper (plus more to taste)
- 1 tsp. salt (plus more to taste)

delicious. added some veggis and noodles as well as extra seasoning and chicken broth

Made me a preferred cook of fish stew. I use mainly fresh gurnard or frozen monk fish, clam sauce, and alternate prawns, or calamari as a second seafood ingredient.

Great. I used fresh tomatoes, 1T tomato paste and threw in some kale I had on hand. Sprinkle with parmesan

Amazing taste! Made it exactly the way the recipe says. I used Cod and Talapia. Has it with Rosemary olive loaf. OMG!

It was great, the 2nd time was even better than the first. I didn’t have clam juice so I used lobster juice, and it turned out to be very good.

Delicious and easy to make! I used shrimp and cod, and the broth was very good. I think that you could add cooked white rice to the recipe, pouring the soup on top. I will definitely make this one again

Doubled all Herbs and Spices
Used Blue Eyed Cod
Fish stock as you can’t get Clam Juice in Australia

Fairly good but I had to make changes since I didn’t have white wine—used lemon juice instead added paprika, white pepper, frozen peas and okra (to make more substantial) and served over rice. Loved how easy this was

I added more pepper along with whole oysters, clams, and scallops. I accidentally used Cabernet Sauvignon instead of Sauvignon Sauvignon Blanc and it still turned out well. Will make again. Definitely have the French Baggett, too, to accompany this stew!
