I gave it an extra star because my family thought it was edible but I would have tossed it in the trash if it was just me eating it. The ginger overwhelmed pretty much the taste of everything. It took a lot longer to prep.

It was fantastic!
Added some celery and cashews then topped it off with sesame seeds.

Turned out great, used a bit extra soy sauce and honey when I made it. Also added red pepper flakes for more kick.

This is my go-to for a weekday stir fry. I substituted shrimps for the beef and used a variety of vegetables (peppers, carrots, broccoli, onion, mushrooms) and doubled the sauce mixture. Everyone loves this recipe.

I made this with green beans and it was perfectly tasty. There was only huge heads of broccoli at the store and I hate waste. You could use a variety of vegetables with this sauce. Asian cooking is great because of all the vegetables. We loved it and will make it again.

Marinated beef about 10 minutes and used more veggies, squash, carrots, snap peas. I also added about a tablespoon of hoisin sauce to the soy sauce mixture. Turned out great!

It needed more flavor. I ended up using a beef boulion. Also, I needed to tenderize the beef a bit more.

Fast and easy to make. Weirdly, I find that the broccoli was the most delicious part. Though the flavouring was a bit bland. I was in a citrus mood so I added some lemon juice for flavour (lime would have likely been a better option). I'll be sure to make this again, but will modify the recipe for improved taste.

Needed some modification, but the basics were right.
Add roasted almonds.
Add Worcestershire sauce to the sauce, along with chilli flakes. The sauce amount could be doubled.

It turned out really well. I did add edamame to it and also made extra sauce (added siracha and red pepper flakes to it as well) it does take more then 15 mins though!

I will mention I did not have broccoli so I used some other vegetables. It doesn’t really matter though because all of them except for some of the mushrooms boiled away (the mushrooms were basically gone too).
I read this recipe and felt it was relatively straightforward. When I began to make it though it completely fell apart. Moving the meat and vegetables back and forth and adding oils to the pan at various points became so confusing I finally gave up. I am also is worried that this meat is not fully cooked and may make me sick. I felt I had to leave it on the heat because I was concerned the meat wasn’t cooked so I tried my best to follow the steps in the recipe and I thought I did, but as you can see from the photos, it came out as one big, black, burned, sticky, colossal disaster. The sauce turned black very quickly. Also, it tastes AWFUL!!! I have undercooked meat, overly cooked vegetables, together in a burned, sweet, caramel soup. If I wasn’t so broke I would feed this garbage to a dog but unfortunately I have to eat it and also save some for tomorrow.
I honestly thought this recipe was easy to follow and straight forward. It is not. Unless you have a lot of skill and confidence, I would not attempt this. You may end up like me with hours of cleaning and barely edible food.

Very good but a little bland, I added chili flakes and peppers as well as other seasonings. I also added stir fry noodles!

This was easy and delicious. I left out the mushrooms, it didn’t change the overall dish. Will make again!

Took a little longer than 15 mins but was really simple and really tasty. Will definitely make again 😊
