Queen Alexandra's Sandwich
AIDASAHOURY-MAJZOUB
Description
Well, talk about proper tea-time. This treat is literary suited for a Queen.
Queen Alexandra was married to King Edward VII. It has been recorded that she was very compassionate and had a tremendous sense of humor. There are some tales of her, allegitly she called one of her husband's mistress to attend his death bed. Funny thing, it appears that the mistress is no other than Camilla Parker Bowles' grandmother. These little facts/tales always amuse me and entertain me.
If you thought you needed a TV show (hence: Downton Abbey) to go through some fun drama; I suggest you grabbing a history book and read, there are some real funny "true stories" around.
Ok, lets get to the important part, the cooking one that is! Even though the original recipe is very much of my liking, I have made some modifications, after all I'm not from any royal blood-line.
