  • 2/3 tablespoon molasses
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cinnamon stick (small)
  • 800 grams pumpkin (coarsely chopped)

    Directions

    1. In a large pot, add the water, piloncillo, and cinnamon.
    2. Boil until the piloncillo has dissolved, stirring occasionally.
    3. Add the pumpkin with the pulp facing downward.
    4. Boil over medium heat until the pumpkin has softened and the syrup has thickened. Be careful not to burn the syrup.
    5. Serve accompanied by milk.
