Let me start off by saying that an inexperienced baker would be left completely confused by this recipe! It calls for brown sugar and vanilla in the actual cookie dough mix, HOWEVER there is NO mention of when to add them to the recipe! I reread it several times to make sure it wasn't meant for the icing or I didn't just miss it. This needs to be corrected ASAP. I tweaked the recipe to my liking and the cookies came out amazing! When the recipe is fixed, I will change my rating to 5 stars!

The cookies themselves turned out perfect. I added 2 tablespoons of cinnamon instead and it turned out really great. The icing however was very runny and so it didn't stay on the cookie but it was still delicious. 🍂

These!! 😍 Soft and not too sweet! The icing takes it over the top! It's a perfect pairing of spice from the cookie and sweet from the icing! Rave reviews from my kids and coworkers! Adding to my Christmas baking list!
