    Came out good. I had to replace the oil with applesauce because I was out. The frosting/icing is my new go to!

    I started the recipe thinking of one quantity but mistakenly added 4 eggs thinking of another recipe I saw before it. Baked in a flat pan. Cake rose well on the sides and cooked evenly. However, the centre was slightly raw and quickly flopped in the centre. I shouldve read the reviews and added nuts and extra cinnamon as some suggested. I like spice and walnuts would’ve gone well with pumpkin. Let’s see, will frost tomorrow morning as this was a late night bake.

    This is perfect for fall. I took this to a potluck, and everybody loved it. Very moist and not over-seasoned.

    Last minute decision to make this today for Thanksgiving and Bday dessert. Everyone loved it. The cake is not too sweet. Next time I would add nuts and a little more cinnamon

    Ok recipe nice flavor. Cake turned out heavy. Not like picture at all. I will try again!

    Excellent cake! Simple to make, and it turned out to be exactly what I wanted: moist, flavorful, and not too sweet. I used a little less sugar, a little more cinnamon, and frosted with a thin layer of melted buttercream frosting. Mmmm.
