Hmmm... lots of potential but the size of the cake tin and the amount of batter made for a thin chewy cake. I decided to go against my instinct and obey the recipe thinking may pumpkin made up for lack of eggs and milk in the batter. I think they should have been and it should be clearer in the recipe. In a sense this was a pumpkin tres leche brownie with whipped cream. If this was better than s** then you’re doing it wrong.

I am the neighborhood baker and am always looking for new and creative desserts. I made this for a thanksgiving themed party and it was a huge hit! Someone told me they could eat it until they threw up!! LOL!! I'm not big on pumpkin, but I thought the flavor and texture was great. I intend on making it again for my family thanksgiving. Next time I will make a day ahead as the recipe suggests and frost before serving.. Thanks!
