  • 1 banana (medium to large ripe)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce (I used pumpkin applesauce but regular would work)
  • 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 cup nut butter (your favorite, I used Mixed Nut Butter from Trader Joe's)
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (Vega Sport)
  • 2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • pecans (for topping, which is optional)
