Super good and so easy to make. Very satisfying. Always thought cottage pie was difficult. Will make it again.

This was delicious. I sautéed the onions and carrots before the burger. I did not add cinnamon or Parsley because I didn’t have parsley. I did not measure the herbs mainly because I’m lazy. I did sprinkle some umami over the mixture. I also added a handful of frozen peas and frozen carrots. For the mashed potatoes, I simply made them like I usually make mashed potatoes. I used two large russet potatoes and that was plenty. I did not measure the cheese but added plenty because my husband will eat anything if there’s enough cheese on it.Some friends dropped in and so they shared dinner with us. I have never seen them so delighted with a dish. Everyone had seconds, Including my husband and he never has seconds. I will make this over and over again. It was so delicious. Thank you.

So good! I didn’t have parsley so just left it out and next time I’ll sauté the onion before the beef. Other than that great recipe!

When I order a cottage pie in an English cafe, this is what I would expect to have on my plate. It is delicious and will be my standard cottage pie recipe. I have never added this much milk to mash potato. A quick whisk and it was all blended in, making the potato really easy to put on top.

One of my new favorite recipes! I have to be sure to use all gluten-free ingredients (flour and broth), and it is delicious. Family favorite!
