Well, I made a small change, because I was concerned that the cake seemed so dense. It didn’t bake up to be a thick, fluffy cake; instead it was quite thin. Instead of making the whipped cream, I used several tsps of lime juice mixed with a little powdered sugar to create a thin glaze. I poked holes in the top of the cake lightly poured on the glaze. Then I topped with a plain whipped cream, sprinkled with lime zest. It turned out great, the cake was moist and had a good lime flavor. Next time I’d use less sugar in the pretzels to get more of a salty bite, maybe even increase the amount of pretzels in the crust.
