- 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut in half length-wise to form strips)
- 2 cups pretzels (crushed finely, I used my food processor)
- 2 eggs
- salt
- pepper
- garlic powder
- dried parsley (or Fresh, for garnish, optional)
- vegetable oil (for pan-frying)
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups cheese (I used a combo of sharp cheddar and gruyere because I had some on hand. Use whatever cheese combo you’d like)
- 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
- salt
- pepper
