- 2 cups oats (uncooked old fashion, NOT instant)
- 2 scoops whey (50g of protein vanilla, isolate protein)
- 1/4 cup wheat flour
- oat flour
- sorghum flour
- almond flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. canela
- 1 egg
- 4 oz. unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- peanut butter
- cashew butter
- 1 Tbsp. raw honey (I used the Manuka honey with 75% bee pollen for the added health benefits but regular raw honey is just fine and more affordable)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 dried cherries (or your choice of naturally dried fruit**)
- 3 Tbsp. dark chocolate (sweetened by Stevia not sugar – in order to keep sugar calories lower**)
