Delicious! I added onion, garlic, and some oregano to the beef to add flavor as per the other reviews. Family loved it

It was MARVELOUS!! I took the advice of another person who left a review about this dish. I added Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder to the meat. I also added a little salt and pepper to the cheese sauce.

Comfort food at its finest! Very cheesy and delicious!! I added one teaspoon of garlic powder and one capful of Worcestershire sauce to the ground beef while I was browning it.

I didnt exactly follow the recipe when it came to the flour, but i did use cream of poblano soup. Alot easier than making the sauce it asks for. We loved it.

Yes, very yummy comfort food, to be sure. I recommend draining the meat VERY well. I will make this again, I think with 1 cup gruyere cheese and a splash of worcestershire sauce in the meat. Dang! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!
    Awesome! Added extra cheese.

It turned out well. could use a little more time in oven for potatoes. Also could use more seasoning. but over all a good meal.
it came out okay, not really packing much flavor.

I made this tonight with a few changes: First layer, potatoes which I salted and peppered. Second layer, ground beef. Third layer, thin slices of Monterey Jack (my family loves cheese!). Fourth layer, half of the cheese sauce. Fifth layer, potatoes again.. Sixth layer, the rest of the cheese sauce. I didn't top with grated cheese because I personally don't like crispy cheese. Turned out really yummy. Great comfort food!

Amazing! I don’t have any complaints for this recipe at all! This was a hit in my family.

Very bland...to much spice in the sauce. I wouldn’t recommend this recipe. I threw it in the garbage.

Tasted good but it was missing some seasoning, will try around more next time.

Very good recipe! Takes a little time to cook but fairly fast prep time and a hit with my two year old!

Really tasty, but definitely pour part of the cheese sauce on each layer progressively, unless you like wiping cheese sauce off everything in the bake pan perimeter; it doesn't drain through the meat layer well until it's actively baking. Also, I left the skins on for extra flavour and laziness; works just as well either way.

really really good! husband loved it! i would probably use less of the cheese sauce because mine ended up having way too much, but other then that very good and easy to make :D

the dish turned out great! I put two in half milk, and tasted the onion cheese mixture before adding layers

i didnt have thyme so i substituted basil. It turned out good. I think Yummly was a little off on the ingredient increase for more servings. Go easy on the milk, the cheese was pretty runny, and you definitely dont need too many more potatoes for serbing more people. I made 3 layers and still had dome left over.

I added chives to it. Could probably use something else as well. It was compared to hamburger helper but obviously better since it was all real ingredients

Yes!! My husband did because i just surgery and he followed the instructions easily! It was YUMMY! we would add more cheese maybe on top the meat layer.

Had to drain liquid from it. Felt it needed something, maybe bacon bits or chives. Overall good though
