Really delicious! I did mine in a Dutch oven so I could go straight from the stove into the oven but the cheese layer was a little thick because there was less surface area so came off a little greasy. Still delicious and easy but I can see the benefit of transferring to a wider, flatter baking dish to spread everything out more. Seasoning was perfect. Will look no further for a scalloped potato recipe... this is a keeper!

so good. doing it the traditional way of putting it on the stove top first makes so much difference. might have used whole cream, but half and half worked nicely. i just put 1/3 of the cheese in st the end of the boil to make the mix that much creamier.
