Grate fresh ginger into batter. Grate dark chocolate on top while still warm. Makes 1 dozen cupcakes. Cooks in 19 minutes. Great ratio and recipe.

I had a Portuguese theme dinner and made this orange cake. We all absolutely loved the flavor and simplicity of the cake.

So yummy! Moist and very good orangey flavor. My family loves to eat it in the morning lol.
The egg white part I was a lil’ nervous because I had only made stiff peaks once and it turned out pretty bad, but I just went for it watched a YouTube and I think I overbeat a lil’ but it turned out pretty good. So if you’re nervous abt that part and aren’t an experienced cooker just go for it. You got this!

It’s baking right now. It’s looks nice and the house smells great . It’s been in the oven at 350° for 45 minutes but when I went to test it, it’s still liquidty. I’ll put it in for another 1O minutes and see what happens. ……an extra 10 minutes seems to have done the trick! Not liquidty this time when I tested it. Poker came out smooth with no residual. Making this for my Brazilian neighbors, I hope they like it.

Turned out great! Pretty easy to make and i am not a skilled baker by any means, but it came out perfectly soft and yummy :) the oranges i used were super sweet so i could have dialed back the sugar a little, but i think if i had oranges with more tang to them, it would be perfect! Also, i didn’t have enough butter so i filled in the rest with coconut oil, and it gave it a delicious coconuty undertone! Highly recommend this recipe for a simple dessert, and also not too decedent for breakfast (goes great with tea!)

It was delicious.
Simple to make and simple in taste.
Nothing special.
Just a simple ' orange ' cake 🙂🍊.

The time given wasn’t enough to completely bake the cake, but it was still enjoyable.
