- 1/2 lb. smoked bacon
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 2 cups portobello mushrooms (chopped)
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cracked black pepper
- salt (to season, if necessary)
- 6 Tbsp. flour (shaken into ¾ cup cold water, for thickening the gravy)
