This is a cozy, warming meal for a cold winter”s night. Agree with the other reviewer that the sauerkraut did not taste like sauerkraut...everything melded into one delicious bed for the pork. I just added a splash of Calvados along with the mustard; otherwise cooked as written using the oven method.

Wonderful! A nice fall dinner and a fantastic change from our usual dishes.

This was delicious! I don’t like sauerkraut but you can’t even taste it. I didn’t have caraway so had to use a substitute (fennel, anise & dill). Otherwise I followed the recipe as written for the stove top. Will definitely make it again.
