I thought it was good but my husband didn’t like it. He was put off by the apples and onions together. But he’s picky. He doesn’t like different things. The plainer the better! Boring! 😑

Loved the concept. Based on reviews, I added rosemary and thyme to the meat before browning. Only had shallots left to use, but still got a pretty good onion flavor. Thought my apples had burned, but they turned out well in the dish. Nice meal to serve for guests.

Worked with the recipe but paired down as I was only cooking for myself. Looked at ingredients and technique then just winged it, finishing with some dried thyme and plating with chopped fresh parsley and added a sweet potato with cinnamon and touch of brown sugar. A glass of Rose rounded out the dinner which is now entered into a favorite entree.

Excellent. Easy to make. Used a bag of my own fresh frozen Washington apples so took a bit longer but the moisture helped steam the onions nicely. Will make again for sure.

Modified it slightly to let sit in the oven and add a little bit of brown sugar to it. I wish I would’ve season the meat with more than just salt and pepper; however, it was a good meal. I probably won’t make it again though

Great! Added about 2-3 Tbls of balsamic glaze to the pot and let it simmer about 10 min

Came out okay; I'm going to blame the recipe on this one. Use a 12" pan, not 8" as it called for or you'll struggle to turn the apples with the onions on top. Cook the pork chops at medium high heat or they will verge on raw while charred on the outside. Finally, cook the onions for a bit first and then turn up the heat for the apples, the goal is to soften the onions without ending up with soft apples. Oh, and there's no way you're going to have the prep done for this one in 5min as the recipe claims.

Delicious and very easy. Perfect for the fall when it’s getting chilly outside and you want something nice and comforting to eat.

Super simple and amazing! Used dried thyme and put it on as I was cooking it. Husband absolutely loved it.

Very very nice. And It’s really important to get the loin cooked perfect ...

Simply delicious. I even got 2 thumbs up from my boys who didn't think they liked pork chops.

This recipe is so easy and so delicious at the same time.
I made a little addition. A pinch of cinnamon in apples.
Sensational!

My family wasn’t too excited when they learned we were having pork chops but once they tried them they changed their minds

Absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to make it again. I overcooked the chops but even then the apples and onions made them not so dry!
