I felt it needed both more sweetness and more acidity ( and I don’t have a sweet tooth)I used ripe Black Doris plums-maybe they aren’t as sweet as what the original recipe was made from.
I think with this it is important to taste and balance the flavours.
The heat was good for me but I do think the recipe could be made with Fresh/Frozen chillies.
