I used cherries, strawberries, raspberries and apple that all needed using up instead of the plums but followed the rest of the recipe as was. The fruit ended up perfectly cooked with a thick juice and just the right amount of sweetness. The cobbler typing was absolutely delicious; a nice crisp crust which, when pulled apart contained a moist, light, lemony sponge.
We've got some rhubarb and more raspberries to harvest this week and I know what I'll be doing with those!
