Description
With warmer temperatures comes the craving for a tall glass of cold, refreshing lemonade. This recipe for Pink Lemonade will refresh and restore your spirits and send your tastebuds dancing. An attractive pink color, this lemonade is berry sweet with a touch of raspberry. You can use frozen or fresh raspberries. Be sure to strain the lemonade before serving to remove excess pulp and seeds. Served over crushed ice, this sweet lemon and raspberry drink makes the perfect poolside refreshment.
Ingredients
- 50 grams raspberries (frozen is okay)
- 55 grams lemon (or 2 small lemons, peeled and cubed)
- 3 Tbsp. white sugar
- 600 mL cold water (very)
- ice (to taste)
Directions
- In a blender or a food processor, place the raspberries and the lemon. I used frozen raspberries because I always have them at home, but you can also use fresh.
- Pulse the raspberries and lemon on high speed. Turn off and, with a spatula, remove the pulp from the walls of the blender.
- Add the sugar and cold water in the blender and blend everything well.
- Run the mix through a strainer to remove the excess pulp and seeds. Break the ice by pulsing the blender.
- Serve the lemonade with finely chopped ice, like a cocktail.
