    Yes. I doctored this one up too. The ingredient list seemed a bit small to me to be flavorful. I removed 10 bratwursts from their casings and browned the meat with diced onions, carrots and minced garlic. Then I added the recipe ingredients except the cheese, pierogi, and spinach(no kale). For seasoning, I added salt and pepper to taste, half teaspoons of paprika, parsley, marjoram, and thyme. Also a quarter teaspoon of cayenne pepper. I simmered everything for 3 hours, and before serving, I added the pierogi and spinach(no kale). When the pierogi float, it's ready to serve. Sprinkle with some Romano cheese. Serve with some crusty bread. NOTE: The recipe did not specify what size can of diced tomatoes to use, so I used a 28oz. can and 2 Tablespoons of tomato paste.
