- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup onion (diced)
- 1 lb. cheese (farmer’s, crumbled, this is a cheese similar in texture to feta but without the briny taste)
- 1 whole egg (beaten)
