The recipe is great, but as stated in the directions, just add more sugar and/or salt to taste. I had to double the sugar and tastes great now....

I never have enough fresh ginger when I have sushi. Made this yesterday and love it. The recipe is so simple. Love the fact that I can store it for later. Will never run out of fresh ginger again!!
