- 1 Tbsp. celery seeds
- 1 tsp. pickling spice (mixed)
- 1 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. allspice berries (crushed whole)
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 cloves garlic (fresh, – for a fresh garlic flavor)
- 3 dried red chili (pods or red jalapeno pepper – to give some heat!)
