Very good! Roasting the red peppers is a must, don’t skip that step. The cheese seemed a little light so I added a layer of aged Swiss cheese on top of the meat mixture. The crescent roll dough adds a nice sweetness to the dish. Definitely will make again and again!

Hit the spot!
I chose this recipe for a mostly 'make ahead' dinner as we were preparing for a busy night. It was defintely easy and incredibly delicious. Do not skip the step of caramelizing the sweet onions. The flavor they bring to the dish is fantastic. The one alteration I did was cut back on all the cheese. I felt four cups was too much for us so I used one cup provolone and one cup mozzarella. I followed the recipe as written otherwise and I can say that I WILL make it again...very soon. Try it - OMG! you'll love it!!
