    Made this, but replaced shortening with oil, and walnuts with almonds. Had to cook a bit more than 15mns. Turned out delicious, soft, and very very nice. Could use a little less sugar maybe, for my taste.

    very soft and fluffy, i did not add nuts, but did add a simple glaze and they were wonderful. super easy to make
