This is a brilliant recipe. It takes 4 hours to cook on low heat but the ingredients are easy to assemble. I wasn't very exact with the measurements of the spices ( basically was on the more generous side.) I used a tagine on a gas hob. Served it with Moroccan cous cous and mashed sweet potato. The cinnamon gives this dish a distinctly different and beautiful taste. Delicious.
