- 1/2 cup coconut milk (unsweetened, from a can, found in the Asian aisle of your grocery store)
- 1 1/4 cups hot water (preferably cooking water from potatoes and onions)
- 2 tsp. nutritional yeast flakes (Add 1/2-1 teaspoon extra for added cheezy flavor, if desired.)
- 2 tsp. lemon juice (fresh or bottled, Add 1/2-1 teaspoon extra for added tangy flavor, if desired.)
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt

This is the absolute best Alfredo sauce I’ve ever had (vegan or not). I went ahead and deleted all other Alfredo sauce recipes I had marked because I don’t need to try anything else. My garlic clove was huge (so maybe it’s like two cloves) and I used one tablespoon nooch instead of two teaspoons. Added a little parsley which made everything else pop even more.
