I’m sensitive to salt, so this was a bit salty for me. Also, it was only about four or five bites, so definitely only one serving. It came out a bit rubbery, which is probably from being in the microwave a little too long. So I made some changes and halved the salt (1/16 tsp) and cooked for 5 seconds less and it came out much better. The second time I also threw together a quick buttercream icing with a little softened butter, cocoa powder, and confectioners sugar. Came out like a little cupcake in a mug, which I guess is the point of a “mug cake”.

Great, tastes real good and it was a breeze to make. I consider it one serving only.

very good recipe. substituted maple syrup for sugar (just because I did6nt have any sugar). kids added sprinkles to their batter. overall it was good. will use again.

This is my go to mug cake recipe. I particularly enjoy putting chocolate chips in, otherwise it would be on the bland side. I also usually add another tablespoon of flour, since the mixture usually comes out pretty liquidy.
