That is pretty much the way I make hash browns. If you just love those fried potatoes, try this. Carefully slice and chunk up left over baked potatoes and fry in the oil & butter mixture. My favorite of all fried potatoes for breakfast.

i used golden potatoes instead and they turned out waffle house quality! good stuff will make again

I love hash browns and these turned out great! I did add a little onion powder to mine for added flavor! Will definitely make these again
