This was the best French bread I’ve ever made!!! I made the dough in my bread machine on the dough cycle, let it rise as a log shape on the counter, then brushed egg white/water mixture for a shiny crust, and baked it in a 400-degree preheated oven for 17 minutes.

it really is perfect
i did added some more water because the dough was not forming (it was crumbled)
