I have cooked this recipe I bet a thousand times over the last 20 some odd years. Turns out great every time. This was Alton Browns recipe from Good Eats in 1999.

Great recipe, although I baked the potatoes at 400 degrees for one hour in my Ninja Foodi Grill on the “Bake” setting, partly because I live at high altitude. It came out great. Nice crispy skin on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

it was yummy. the salt really gave it a nice taste. I could habe let it cook a little longer as some was still hard but still yummy.

This potato was great! Perfect temp, perfect time, perfect seasoning, equals a perfect baked potato!

Perfect and easy. I needed a staple and consistent recipe and this delivers. Seems I should have known this but at least now I have it in print 😉
