We really enjoyed this recipe. I doubled the sauce. Make sure you really take the time to crush the peppercorns. We used Cognac and it was delicious! I found the cast iron skillet to be a great method to cook the steak.

It was amazing! Made it with a ny strip steak and the flavors were phenomenal. I wouldn’t eat this as a leftover the sauce messes up when you microwave it . Will definitely make again!

The sauce is amazing, but I cooked the steaks using a reverse seared method. I cooked on the pellet smoker until they reached 100 degrees and seared them off in skillet at 2 minutes aside.

Amazing! Followed the sauce directions to a "T" - quadrupled the recipe (8 people) was perfect. I did grill the steak, but it was still incredible.
