- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup slivered blanched almonds (coarsely chopped)
- 8 Tbsp. unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 cups peaches (ripe, slices, skin removed and diced, or a 16 ounce bag of frozen peaches, thawed and well drained, may be used if fresh is not available)
- 1 Tbsp. confectioner's sugar (plus more if needed)
- 20 oz. cream cheese (2 ½ 8-ounce packages, softened to room temperature)
- 1 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar (sifted to remove any lumps)
- 1 tsp. grated lemon zest (finely)
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
