My whole entire family loved it. My Mom said this is a lot better than the flan you always make. I cut the sugar in half. The sweetness was just perfect, my husband and my nephew added vanilla ice cream on top. I’ll add more peaches next time. I used fresh picked peaches from our tree. 👍😉😆 thanks for the recipe. Sharing your recipe to a friend. 😁

My Mommom, who was an immigrant from Germany made this for me when I was little. She never gave me the recipe. This is very close. It’s delicious.

Will make it again, for sure! I used canned pears, and it worked well. The custard may seem too sweet for somebody, just reduce the sugar in it (but not in a batter). Also, i used twice less fruits than the receipt says... just because I literally had no space to put them on... 1 can fits perfectly

So yummy!! I made it with homemade whipped cream. Great dessert if you're looking for something flavorful but not too sweet!!

Delicious!! My husband and son loved it too.I used whipping cream instead of heavy cream because that is all I had and it still worked well. Mine took 50 minutes in the oven after the initial 15 minutes. The edges stuck a bit but a plastic knife helped remove it.

I made this for an Oktoberfest get-together we had with friends, and it was a huge hit. The custard was rich and creamy, and delicious. The whole dessert was a huge success. I’ll be adding it to the regular rotation of homemade desserts.

fairly easy recipe to follow. not too sweet, like typical german desserts. i added in 2 tbs of the canned peach syrup to the cake batter.
