- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups half and half
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 dash salt
- praline topping (recipe follows)
- maple syrup
- praline topping
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- french toast (Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and blend well. Makes enough for Baked, Casserole.)

This recipe is my go to recipe for an amazing brunch dish. It wows everyone every time. It takes a l.il time to put together, but the best part is it gets put together the night before. So the next morning I wake up to pop it in the oven and head back to bed for 30 minutes. The texture is a fluffy, eggy French toast, very soft and thanks to the crust of the praline topping, it's a perfect combination.
