- 1 tsp. fennel seeds (ground)
- 1 tsp. cardamom seeds (ground green)
- 1/4 tsp. fenugreek (dried, kasoori methi)
- 1 tsp. cardamom seeds (ground black)
- 2 tsp. garam masala
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 tsp. salt (or to taste)
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cumin seeds (ground)
- 1 Tbsp. coriander seeds (ground)
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil (or sunflower)
- 1 onion (large, 200g, pureed)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. ginger (minced)
- 75 grams ghee
