This is my #1 go-to recipe for a sick day. I highly recommend using chicken broth/stock in place of the water to boost the umami-ness of the dish.

I 4x all the ingredients to make enough for me and my kids. It is definitely a comfort food! It's a great pick for picky kids as there isn't any overpowering flavors, but it feels great going down. Very easy and quick to make, I actually served it for dinner alongside some broccoli.
