This is a go to recipe for me. I've made it several times. I substitute organic sweet Italian chicken sausage (Publix Greenwise brand) and its delicious. If I have bacon or pancetta I use it. If not, it's still delicious. Same with the half and half. I know its traditional but I skip the extra calories though I tend to add a bit more wine. I add some fresh basil that I chiffonade on top when I serve. It's a great recipe.

This is a great recipe I have made a number of times now. Great for freezing and having easy meals during the week. I omit the cream and don’t miss it, and like the crock pot version but am sure the other is just as good!

Absolutely the best Bolognese! Followed recipe exactly - wouldn't change a thing.

I am making this sauce for the second time tonight. I use bacon instead of pancetta, chicken broth instead of wine and add a little sugar to cut the acidity. It is just delicious!
