- 15 oz. red kidney beans (with liquid)
- 15 oz. great northern beans (with liquid)
- 1 tsp. salt (plus more to taste, if needed)
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 8 oz. ditalini pasta
- Parmesan cheese (or mozzarella, for serving)
