My chops were a bit on the thin side so I checked the temperature after 25 min. with my meat thermometer et viola! I did like the taste and the simplicity. Had to be a bit careful not to spill the water.

Made this twice. The first time I made it with the ingredients above but omitting the salt. I also browned the chops, baked at 375 degrees for 40 mins covered, did not add water to the bottom of the pan. Removed covering and sprinkled with parmesan cheese and baked for 10 mins more. It was very good, but my husband and I thought that it was missing something. HOWEVER we had leftovers for lunch the next day and it was FABULOUS! So decided to make this again but add some other ingredients.
I had 5 chops so allowed for 1 heaping tbsp per chop. Added to the mayo 2 tsp minced garlic, the parsley and pepper. Browned the chops and baked as above. When I sprinkled with parmesan cheese I also added some bacon bits that were left over from the night before. We found the missing something.
It tasted great and will definitely make this again.
