Buttery but not that crispy. Loved them anyway!
I let them soak in cold water for about 20 minutes, but next time I'll try an hour like the other commenter. I also added garlic powder & oregano. Half a table spoon of butter halways through as well. Wonderful!

This was very tasty. I will definitely be making these again. I soaked the cut potatoes in cold water first for 1 hour to get rid of the starch, which makes the fries crispy. I also placed the fries on a preheated tray so it would cook evenly.
