- 2 vidalia (large, or other sweet onions)
- 1 cup all purpose flour (more if needed)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups panko japanese style bread crumbs (Kikkoman, I had to add a little more at the end of my onion dipping process)
- 1 cup oil (I used canola oil)
