Virtually equal parts wet and dry ingredients should produce a thick batter - which is what this recipe did - provided one does not over-mix. Over-mixing is possibly the fastest way to ruin a good pancake batter. I barely mix pancake batter and never use a whisk, just a spoon to carefully combine the wet and dry ingredients and then I stop and let the batter rest for 5 minutes or so. Lumps are fine (provided they are not lumps of dry ingredients) and do not affect the end product. I agree with the comments about microwaving the butter to liquify it before adding to the other wet ingredients.
This recipe produced about 6 large (5-6 inch) thick fluffy pancakes. Excellent. Some may want to cut back on the sugar a bit if they prefer a less sweet pancake.

Simple and delicious! I microwave the egg/milk mixture to keep the butter from clumping.

Made these, added cinnamon nutmeg and blueberries. The batter is really thin but they tell you that so it wasn’t a surprise. I was skeptical but they came out the best pancakes I’ve had! Will definitely make again

Made these 3 times before leaving this comment. Good, not great. Making the full recipe tastes better than halfing it. Just store the leftover mix.

Excellent! Works well when halfed also, use 1 full egg even when halfing it

Hubby wanted pancakes this morning so I'm looking for pancake mix which is what I usually use! None to be had! I turn to my phone and find this recipe! Our son came over and it made more than enough for the 3 of us! The conclusion was, "Wow,Sweety! Those were some really good pancakes!" Son and I agree! Keeping recipe and will use it again! Thanks!!

Quite good. The mix is a bit runny, have to control the temperature, but it’s ok. 👌🏻

They were great...added green food colouring for a St. Patrick’s Day bit of fun.

They were good, easy to make. Not the best ever but still good when you're craving pancakes.

I wouldn't use this again, they turned out burnt on one side and not cooked on the other. The taste was horrid and they were way too thin.

Fantastic. I used 2 cups of buttermilk and about 1/4 milk (2 1/4 total cups of liquid). I make a lot of pancakes... this is the recipe I am using from here on out. I plan to claim all credit for it when explaining my process to family and friends. They will think I am a food genius and be completely intimidated by my pancake skills. I will eventually overcome the shame of my intellectual property theft, and bask in my I’ll gotten title of pancake king.

It did not turn out well. It was hard and the colour of the pancake was very light and yet crispy on the sides.
