- 1 Tbsp. coconut oil (melted, see note below; use virgin coconut oil to keep it paleo)
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder (commercial baking powder is not paleo so you may need to make your own homemade paleo baking powder)

- 2 Tbsp. coconut milk
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp. shredded unsweetened coconut (+ additional for garnish, optional)

This was so easy to make and it turned out delicious!
I’m keto, not paleo, and I’m not super fond of too much coconut taste, so I substituted melted butter for the coconut oil and half and half for the coconut milk. I added some cocoa powder, and it’s exactly to my liking! This is an awesome base recipe
Can’t wait to try other versions :)
